Dear Student, The Brothers of FarmHouse Fraternity believe in building a man Intellectually, Spiritually, Socially/Morally, and Physically. It is apparent in the way that we promote fellowship among the brotherhood, encourage leadership, and strengthen spiritual growth. This journey begins with our New Member Program and continues throughout each member's stay in FarmHouse. Becoming a part of our brotherhood will guide you in your growth as a man while you experience everything that Texas Tech University has to offer. Whether it is campus involvement, intramural sports, bible studies, or just meeting new people, FarmHouse encompasses the true spirit of Texas Tech. FarmHouse will allow you to make the most of your college experience. Texas Tech offers two forms of recruitment in the fall and spring. The first type is formal recruitment and begins during the week prior to the beginning of classes. During formal recruitment you will visit all 23 IFC fraternities during a four-day period. At the end of these four days you will pick which of these fraternities you wish to join. The next type of recruitment is called open recruitment. During open recruitment you pick which fraternity you wish to join and go and visit them directly. This is a wonderful opportunity since it allows you alot more one on one time with that fraternity. Open recruitment takes places during the week following formal recruitment.  If the ideals of excellence that FarmHouse hold dear appeal to you, we encourage and invite you to come and see what we have to offer.
